Graphic Arts Production

Manga Illustrations

Advanced Graphic Arts Production students created original manga illustrations. The students were guided in stages to develop unique manga characters. Students designed original character features by starting with sketches and digital drawings of eyes, then faces and hair, followed by bodies and clothing. They learned to render all drawings and character elements in Photoshop. Once completed, the students experimented with depictions of emotions.
